Brienne and Fiona are rescued and transformed by the fallen mage Cru. Fiona evolves into an evil dragon. Percy is defeated and nearly killed. Mia saves him at the cost of her own life. Percy awakens the Sun God's blessing, heals Mia, transforms into a seraph, and slays Fiona. Cru flees. Percy returns Mia to the Church, refuses the papacy again, and chooses to hunt down Cru.
